Deffenbaugh Homes is one of the few ENERGY STAR Builders in the State of South Dakota. ENERGY STAR qualified homes have far less utility costs than standard homes. New in 2009, new homes with geo-thermal heat pumps are eligible for tax credits of 30% of the cost of the system.
