About This Project
The Indian Hills residence was remodeled to create a little extra space for the family and revitalize the exterior of the home. Above the family’s existing garage, we added a bonus room and a covered deck that overlooks the back yard. We then updated the back deck, replacing cedar with hardy tile, adding a classic metal railing, and accentuating the area with stone columns. The original exterior of the house made heavy use of EIFS (insulation siding,) which we incorporated into a fresh, organic design. The home’s new exterior displays a warm color palette, rustic stone, cedar shakes, timber lintels, and large timbers that support a new metal roof above the front porch.
